Congolese Youth Group is a community-led organisation dedicated to supporting and inspiring young people from all backgrounds. We provide a safe, inclusive, and positive environment where young people can learn new skills, build confidence, and develop into strong leaders of tomorrow.

Our story and who we are

 

Congolese Youth Group is a youth-focused community initiative established to support and uplift young people in Hull. Our organisation was created with the vision of providing a structured and supportive space where young people can develop academically, socially, and personally.

 

We are passionate about building confidence, strengthening identity, and promoting unity across cultures and communities.


Congolese Youth Group was created with a vision to support and empower young people in Hull and what started as a passion to bring young people together has grown into a community-focused initiative dedicated to education, leadership, creativity, and cultural pride. We recognised the need for a safe and inspiring space where young people from all backgrounds can feel supported, valued, and encouraged to reach their full potential.

 

Our journey is built on unity, resilience, and the belief that every young person deserves opportunities to grow, succeed, and positively contribute to society.

We sometimes host meetings amongst the members to organise what activities our children should do for the week, whether that's doing swimming, visiting the beach and down to doing indoor activities such as the ones that are mentioned on the Activities & Events page
